STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR INTERIOR RENOVATION JOB
- Validity of Quotation
- This quotation is valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to change after the validity period due to market fluctuations.
- Scope of Work
- The quotation is based strictly on the scope of work, drawings, specifications, and BOQ mentioned herein.
- Any work not explicitly mentioned shall be treated as additional work and charged separately upon written approval.
- Payment Terms
- Payment shall be made as per the agreed payment schedule mentioned in the quotation/work order.
- All payments must be made via bank transfer in favor of IMFARA Incorporation.
- IMFARA reserves the right to suspend work in case of delayed payments without any liability for project delay.
- Taxes & Duties
- All quoted prices exclude VAT, AIT, customs duties, local authority fees, and any other government levies unless specifically mentioned.
- Applicable taxes shall be charged as per prevailing government regulations.
- Project Timeline
- Project duration shall commence from the date of advance payment, site handover, and final approval of drawings, whichever is later.
- Delays caused by client instructions, late approvals, force majeure, restricted site access, or third-party issues shall entitle IMFARA to time extensions without penalty.
- Design Changes & Variations
- Any design change or modification requested after approval shall be considered a variation order.
- Variation costs and timeline impact shall be mutually agreed in writing before execution.
- Materials & Specifications
- Materials shall be supplied as per approved samples and specifications.
- Minor variations in shade, texture, or finish may occur due to natural or manufacturing limitations and shall be considered acceptable.
- Warranty & Defects Liability
- IMFARA provides a one (1) year free service warranty from the date of handover for workmanship and technical defects.
- Warranty excludes damages due to misuse, negligence, tearing, burning, water seepage, external impact, or normal wear & tear.
- Manufacturer warranties (e.g., AC compressor – 5 years) shall apply as per supplier terms.
- Site Conditions & Access
- Client shall ensure unrestricted site access, utilities (power, water), and necessary permits during working hours.
- IMFARA shall not be responsible for delays due to site restrictions or security procedures.
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- IMFARA shall follow standard HSE practices and site regulations.
- Client shall facilitate compliance requirements imposed by building management, concern authority, or local administration.
- Suspension & Termination
- IMFARA reserves the right to suspend or terminate the contract in case of:
- Non-payment
- Force majeure events
- Breach of contract terms by the client
- Work completed up to the date of suspension shall be payable.
- Liability Limitation
- IMFARA’s liability shall be limited to the value of the contract.
- IMFARA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Confidentiality
- All drawings, designs, pricing, and documents shared are confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
- Governing Law
- This quotation and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
